Dear Customer,
We wish to inform you that MPET (MSC PSA European Terminal) at Quay 1742 will introduce a distribution surcharge during peak hours. This measure aims to optimize terminal capacity and encourage transport operations during off-peak hours.
Implementation The distribution surcharge will take effect on 1 December 2025 and will apply to all truck visits during peak hours.
Details are as follows:
Period Time Slot Surcharge per Truck Visit
Peak Hours 06:00 – 20:00 €15.00 (excl. VAT)
Off-Peak Hours 20:00 – 06:00 Free – no surcharge
The surcharge will be applied per truck visit (not per container) to encourage consolidated trips.
Fuel Surcharge & Road Tax
For our transport services, we aim to provide clear and transparent pricing to help our clients plan effectively. To ensure we continue offering reliable and efficient logistics, we apply a fuel surcharge that adjusts monthly to reflect fluctuations in diesel prices.
Update :
We are currently witnessing an unprecedented surge in daily fuel prices, a direct consequence of the unfolding crisis in the Middle East. It is therefore necessary to introduce a WEEKLY fuel surcharge as from 2 March 2026.
Actual fuel surcharge for week 27 is 13.61 %.
This variable cost allows us to adapt to changing market conditions while maintaining the high-quality service you expect from us. By aligning with industry standards, this ensures your shipments are handled sustainably and consistently, no matter the external challenges.
Road Tax Belgium & The Netherelands as from 01 July 2026
We would like to inform you of significant changes to the road toll legislation for freight transport in both Belgium and the Netherlands.
These changes will take effect on 1 July 2026 and will have a direct impact on the cost of your transport services. We believe it is our responsibility to keep you fully informed in a transparent manner.
Legislative Changes
As of 1 July 2026, the Belgian road toll system will be expanded to include a CO₂-based charge. For most heavy-duty Euro VI vehicles, this will result in an increase of approximately 40% compared to the current toll rates.
At the same time, the Netherlands will introduce a new road toll charge for vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of 3,500 kg and above. The average toll will range between €0.19 and €0.21 per kilometre and will apply to almost all motorways and parts of the secondary road network.
Impact on Your Invoices
These government-imposed charges have a direct impact on our operating costs.
As a result, we will pass these additional costs on in full and effective 1 July 2026, apply the following surcharges to cover the increased road toll charges as well as the associated operational and administrative costs:
· Belgian transport: +5% on the applicable transport rates
· Dutch transport: +10% on the applicable transport rates
· International transport (excluding the Netherlands): +5% on the applicable transport rates, capped at €80.00 per shipment
